NEXT RAIN CHANCE SAN DIEGO: UPDATED THURSDAY 12-29-2016

Intermittent showers will be possible through the day on Friday as a storm system drifts overhead. More showers will arrive on Saturday with a chance for isolated downpours in the evening and overnight. Rain should taper by Sunday morning.

Snow levels will quickly drop to around 4,000 feet Saturday afternoon and evening.A dusting to 1" is possible above 4,000 feet. 2" to 4" is possible above 5,000 feet.

Afterwards, most of next week is looking cool with possibly another rain chance arriving early in the week.
